El Souk Street is one of the most important of the main activities nerves in Luxor that links between Luxor Temple and Elkarnak Temple, of length about in 1200 m, and of width ranging from 6-10 m. The development and landscaping of the street is the first stage of converting Luxor's core to an Open Museum and heritage district, through developing streets, squares and treating the architectural character, and supplying landscape works, and separating pedestrian and traffic movement and dedicating the street partially to pedestrians.
